Three stages from poverty

Escape from poverty for the future

In front of me, a world-famous Bangladeshi sage explains how to escape from poverty.

The first step to escaping poverty is to alleviate poverty through aid.
This is seen as the duty of the wealthy, who compete to provide support in the hundreds of millions or trillions of yen.
However, this can actually create dependence among the poor, eventually preventing them from becoming self-reliant.

The second step is not to give them fish, but to teach them how to fish.
It emphasizes the importance of "skills education support."
By acquiring skills and becoming able to create things, each individual will gain the ability to live independently.

The third step is that because people are currently poor, they struggle and rack their brains to find a way to escape their circumstances.
By establishing a unique "small financial system" to realize that small amount of wisdom,
the intellectual energy of the poor will erupt like a volcano in the form of tangible work results.
In Bangladesh, 9 million people have escaped poverty through this third step and are on the verge of realizing true prosperity.

LookWest, by turning our attention to Asia now, we are sure to find a future that truly solves poverty.
