What is food mold release agent?
In order to remove the molded product from the mold, oil is required to make it easier to peel off.
In the case of taiyaki ware, the release agent is the substance that acts like ``butter'' or ``oil'' that is applied to the mold before pouring the batter into it.
Mold release agents prevent the molded product from coming into close contact with the mold and reduce the friction that occurs when the molded product is removed from the mold. It is also used in machines such as "bao-an machines" that automatically produce manju buns.
Therefore, it is possible to maintain the beauty of the molded product and prevent damage to the mold at the same time.
