Aikawa Town, Ai Ko District, Kanagawa Prefecture CERARICA NODA is located in one of the few towns in Japan where the word "love" overlaps. Approximately 50 years ago, we moved from our headquarters in Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, and from our Kitami Factory, which had fields lined up in front of Seijo Gakuen, to a lush green ``town of love.'' I did. With the Tanzawa Mountains as its backdrop, this laid-back "town of love" continues to develop further into the 21st century, with the opening of the "Sagamihara Aikawa IC and Ken-O Atsugi IC" on the Metropolitan Area Chuo Expressway. The area has improved, and plans are progressing for the ``Maglev Line'' Hashimoto Station (20 to 30 minutes from our company on National Route 129) with the goal of opening in 2027.

The predecessor of our factory was the prestigious Kita Wax Works, which was founded 91 years ago in Nagahama, Ozu, Ehime Prefecture. The company went out of business in 2012, but the president, Taizo Noda, believed that ``in order to develop the Japanese wax industry, we should never eliminate good rivals,'' and despite the hardships, he passionately bought the company and began producing Japan wax . We have resumed production. Japan's oldest "eco-operated boiler" in the company is back in full working order, and along with Japan's oldest movable bridge "Akahashi," which is right near the company, it has become a symbol of tourism in the local city of Nagahama, Ozu. .

At the end of the Sengoku period, Tokugawa Ieyasu built a stable in what is now Nihonbashi Bakurocho, Chuo Ward, in preparation for the later Battle of Sekigahara. This is said to have given rise to the name of the area that is now called ``Bakuro-cho.''
In the past, it was a bustling town filled with lively clothing wholesalers, but today it has become a cultural center with many galleries and artists. Bakurocho is sandwiched between downtown areas such as Asakusa and Ryogoku, Akihabara and Nihonbashi, and has excellent transportation. Bakurocho Station (JR), which is 5 minutes from Tokyo Station, Bakuroyokoyama Station (Toei Shinjuku Line), Higashi Nihonbashi Station (Toei Asakusa Line) and many other lines, providing access to central Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and even Kanagawa and Tsukuba. It's also a very nice city.
