Hazenomi School begins
While new demand for Japan wax is increasing year by year, mainly for high-end cosmetics, we are currently facing the issue of a shortage of harvesters due to the aging of the people who harvest the raw material, the haze. Therefore, our young employees spent five years learning techniques from masters, and by working tirelessly on rainy and snowy days to master these skills, we will be able to share this knowledge with young people in various regions, mainly in the Shikoku-Kyushu region. We have opened a new "Hazenomi School" that teaches safe harvesting methods.
Approximately 50 local high school students participated in the first school. At the ``Hazenomi School'', young people today can become interested in oak trees in a new way, so in order to increase the number of young people harvesting oak trees, we will also use grape goby logs, which were popular on TV, to be used by high school students. We will expand this to Wakayama and other areas where we found it, and will actively promote it in the future.
